Not that I was ever "hip" even when I was younger, but... the only store in the whole mall where I found jeans to fit my body and my style was a Sears.
You know, the last time I tried to buy jeans I tried on no less than 40 different pairs/sizes/styles...so I'm dying to know what you finally bought. Well, maybe not, you and I are not built the same, what works for you will not likely work for me...I've got that Butt that my husband is so fond of. The butt I got from Africa ;) Congratulations on finding a pair of jeans!!!!
okay, when I was a kid the cool things were garanimals...never had them though-not even the knock offs. In fact, I was the only third grade girl wearing toughskins. have I revealed too much for your blog Robin? The toughskins by the way, were not even cool enough to be blue, but rather a drab brown. Jenn
Toughskins now come in ONLY denim blue. And, unfortunately, only go up to size 9. Beau wore his last pair until he no longer had reinforced knees, but rather, reinforced thighs.
Not sure what the "cool" brands were when I was a kid -- you'd have to ask my sisters, because, of course, in my mind, they got all the good stuff. -Robin
