Today, the kids' school is celebrating "Read Across America." All total, the students read more than 2007 books, and this year the celebration was a Western theme, culminating with the school principal riding down the street on a horse. In the classes, the kids made hats or vests to wear as part of the celebration, but Casey went all out in getting dressed this morning.

Loose the mits and the vest and head him out west! He looks like he belongs with his Uncle Charlie ;) He'll need that hat for shade, it will be about 90 degrees today. Charlie and I went to read at Sulpher Springs in the Read Across America...we read Seuss. I read the Birthday book, what a wonderful book to read, the day after my birthday- It made my whole day! I've got to get a copy of that book!
