We went apple-picking on Sunday.

Last year Frances was with us.
And we took pie when we visited our CT relatives.

This year, we ate the pie ourselves.

Last night she killed a mouse. So I guess she's earned her keep.

Sorry no pictures of the victim. Britt disposed of the corpse first thing this morning so as to not upset Casey. But then when I told Casey about Pixie killing a mouse, he asked "Where is it?" and was disappointed that the evidence was gone.

Here's Pixie wishing she were an outdoor cat so she could take on squirrels and the neighborhood alpha cat...
