Hockey Season Opener

Hockey season began in August when practice resumed. Beau's team played their first league game last Sunday at the very respectable hour of 8:30 am. And the game was at our home rink, so it was not too much trouble (ie no one had to get up before first light).

This photo is a bit blurry, but here is Beau after the game -- all red in the face. His team lost, but they played a decent game.



Here is Casey at the rink, re-enacting the snit he was in earlier when we insisted that we were ALL going to Beau's game.



It was a beautiful fall day in New England -- kind of a shame to be inside at the rink.
